SUP

Flat, clear water and a board. The easiest way onto the sea there is.

Stand-up paddle is the easiest way onto the water there is. Ten minutes to find your feet, and then it is just you, the board and water so clear you can watch your own shadow cross the seabed.

It is a gentle thing, made for calm, sheltered water close to shore. Glide along the coast, poke into the shallows, stop whenever you like. No engine, no noise, no rush.

Paddle straight off the boat

Here is the part most people miss. You do not have to launch from the beach. Take a board out on one of our cruisers, drop anchor in a quiet bay, and paddle straight off the back of the boat.

It turns a lazy day on a big boat into something more. The kids paddle circles around the anchor while the adults swim, or you slip away across the bay on your own for half an hour of quiet. The board comes with the boat, so there is nothing extra to carry and nowhere to be.

Questions

None at all. SUP is the gentlest way onto the water and most people are up and paddling within ten minutes. If it is your first time we will get you started before you go.

Yes. If you are renting or touring on one of our cruisers, we can put a board on board so you can paddle straight off it in whatever bay you anchor in. Just ask when you book.

Very. In calm, sheltered water most kids are happy kneeling or sitting on the board, and they pick up standing quickly. Life jackets are included.

We watch the wind and point you at the sheltered side of the islands, where it stays flat. If it is a genuinely rough day we will tell you and move it.

An hour, two hours, or the full day, which is about six hours. Full day gives you time to actually cross to the islands and explore rather than just potter near shore.
