The day rate covers the boat. Fuel is separate, so you only pay for what you burn. You take her out with a full tank and bring her back full, or we settle the difference at the pump price when you return. Nothing is estimated up front and nothing is guessed.
A gentle day around the Pakleni is about €50 of fuel. Run her hard, long stretches at full throttle, and it climbs, up to around €300 on a heavy day. You only pay for what you burn.
Any valid boat licence, any nationality. Not sure yours qualifies? Ask and we will confirm before you book. No licence in the group? Take the same boat with a skipper instead.
You step aboard and we handle the rest. Your skipper knows every cove and quiet bay on this coast, so you just say what kind of day you want and it happens. A lively beach bar or an empty bay, a long lunch or a lazy swim, it is yours to shape.
There is shade when the sun climbs and open deck when you want the breeze. We pull in wherever the water looks good, drop anchor, and you swim. When you have had your fill of sun, we bring you home.
The Bellingardo is a roomy, easy boat to drive. One hundred horsepower, 5.6 metres, room for five. Quick enough to cruise the islands and the south side without feeling slow, with space to spread out and a simple, relaxed day in mind.
It runs the Pakleni Islands and the south side of Hvar. Take it yourself with a licence, or let a skipper drive while you relax. A cooler box, shade, snorkels and a sound system are all on board.

On self-drive the day rate covers the boat. Fuel is separate, and you only pay for what you actually burn, so the bill is yours to control.
Pottering. Cross to the Pakleni at a gentle speed, anchor up, swim, drift home. Most families land here.
Full throttle. Long runs at speed, out to Šćedro and back, engine wide open most of the day.
It is the same tank either way, the difference is entirely in the right hand. Two identical boats can leave on the same morning and come back €200 apart.

With a skipper, none of this applies, fuel is bundled into the day rate. Not sure what a self-drive day would cost? Ask when you book and we will give you a realistic number.

None of this is here to scare you off, the vast majority of days go perfectly. But the boat is ours and the licence is yours, so it is worth both of us being clear before you set off.
